Abstract

A 14-year-old left-hand-dominant female, born to first-degree cousin parents, presents with congenital unilateral hypoplasia of the right index and middle fingers and absence of the distal interphalangeal joint in the right ring finger. She attained menarche at age 12 and reports no family history of similar malformations. She is independent in daily activities and can grasp small objects with the affected hand, though she has mild difficulty with heavy bimanual grip.
